In the Travel Tips section we want to answer your questions about getting to San Pedro la Laguna and staying there.  If your question is not answered, please email us. We are glad to answer any of your questions. If you ask it, someone else will too.

How do I get to San Pedro from Guatemala City?
. map_s.gif (8353 bytes)The Map at left, shows the route from the dock at San Pedro to Casa Rosario. We recommend that you click on it and make a copy of the large version of the map to take along with you. We also have a three different ways to get from the Guatemala City  to San Pedro la Laguna:
  • The cheapest way: Via a Guatemalan bus, referred to by English speakers as the chicken bus (because passengers often transport chickens in it). It is called a camioneta by Guatemalans .
  • The safest way: A tourist van will take you from Antigua Guatemala directly to San Pedro la Laguna.
