| . | San Pedro la Laguna and San Juan la Laguna from the road which goes up Las Cristilinas. The road which is between San Pablo and San Juan is accessed by going up through San Pablo. If you wish to climb on foot, start early so you avoid the heat of the day. |

| Hiking around the lake is a favorite. Bring plenty of water, and leave your valuables at your room. It is a good idea to check with the Casa Rosario teachers and directors about the safety of any trip before you do it, especially climbing the Volcanoes, because conditions and situations affecting the safety change. | |
