Fanciful arches reminiscent of colonial architecture adorn the colonnade of one of the newest hotels in San Pedro, Hotel Nahual Maya. A second floor has been built since these photographs were taken, so there are now sixteen rooms. A neatly kept lawn is planted with new trees which in a few years will look like they have been there forever. There is ample space to park cars behind the office. The rooms are nice and the bathrooms are modern. They also have their own laundry.
